Please check and see if the connector wire behind the VFD is touching the solder points behind the circuit board. If so, please separate them by taping the wire down or place non-conductive material in between the wires and the circuit board.

If your computer is tripping the circuit breaker that means it is drawing too much power from one outlet. Please do the following:

1. Please make sure the computer is plugged directly into the wall outlet and do not use extension socket or other multiple outlet extension cords with the computer.

2. If the use of extension socket is necessary, avoid combined usage with other higher powered household appliances such as TV, audio amplifier, etc…

3. Contact your local electrician for information on how you can upgrade your house to accommodate higher electrical draw.

Before you turn on the PC please make sure the power connector from your system hard drive is isolated from the power connector connected to the hard drive you wish to hot-swap. Both connectors should be on different cables from the power supply.

  1. This is the correct IDE/SATA power connector configuration. Please refer the picture as shown. (A is your system hard drive, B is your hot-swap hard drive)
  2. This is the incorrect IDE/SATA power connector configuration where both drives are being powered by the same cable from the power supply.
This configuration affects all products with hot-swappable features including: KL series, FT series, RV series, and FP35.

  1. When you are finished using your media cards (SD, CF, MS and SM etc), simply pull them out from the FP34/FP35.



  2. Please don’t use the “safely remove hardware” command as you do with normal USB devices. If you use the “safely remove hardware” command from the system tray icon, the FP34/FP35 card reader function will be disabled until you restart your system.

LED connector installation guide:

White colored wires are negative while other colored wires are positive.
Power LED connector is designed as separate pins for compatibility with different motherboard specifications.

It’s possible but for best balance of cooling and quietness, installing a fan directly on the CPU cooler is usually more effective than installing exhaust fan on rear of the case.

The RV04’s airflow path has been optimized using positive pressure design to dissipate heat. The two front 180mm fan will provide equal airflow for both CPU and graphic card area. From our test results, a rear exhaust fan creates an imbalanced airflow that lowers the CPU temperature slightly at the cost of greater cooling performance loss for the graphics card area. Even without an exhaust fan installed the hot air will still exit naturally from the rear. We have also found out through testing that installing a fan directly onto the CPU cooler results in overall quieter case compared to having a fan mounted in the rear exhaust fan slot due the latter’s more exposed location and turbulence against the fan grille. So with all things considered, an exhaust fan is unnecessary with this case’s design, but the rear fan mount is still included for convenient placement of all-in-one liquid cooling solution.

The RV04 was designed to achieve optimal silence so there are no fan guards in front of the front fans to reduce noise associated with air turbulence. To reduce the chance of foreign objects touching and damaging the spinning fans while the system is on, we recommend only removing and cleaning the filter when the system is off.

A. If your fan is connected to the motherboard, we suggest you to turn off temperature control function in the BIOS. If you want to use temperature control function on your motherboard, we recommend you to set the RV04’s physical fan speed switch to high for a lower starting voltage and a wider range of control. If the fans still do not spin, please contact reseller or SilverStone to arrange for replacement.

This chassis supports Kensington security locks to prevent not only the entire chassis from being taken when locked but can also prevent theft of interior components. If the top cover can be removed independently then there is no point in having Kensington lock holes in the first place.

Customized liquid cooling systems do not have a definite installation procedure. Typical chassis will not have provision for this. DIY users must make provisions themselves. If you want to install a 3 x 120mm radiator, we recommend Magicool Dual 180 Radiator instead as a better alternative.

The TS03 supports slim optical drive to reduce the depth required in the 5.25” optical drive bay. It can increase the space for CPU cooler in the GD05. The limitations of installing NT06-E into the GD05 are as follow:

  1. Horizontal orientation of CPU cooler on the motherboard.

The above limitations apply only if graphics card is installed in the first expansion slot and with rear 80mm fans installed.
If fans are removed, y distance decreases by 25mm
If graphics card is installed in the second expansion slot, the x distance increases by 20mm

Installation guide

  1. Install the NT06-E on the motherboard.



  2. Insert a slim optical drive into the TS03.


  3. Install the motherboard into the chassis.




  4. Install and secure the TS03 in the 5.25” drive bay.



  5. Connect the wires and cables to the TS03.



  6. Install a 120mm fan over the NT06-E as needed.

There are two main types of heat pipes used in popular aftermarket coolers, they are groove and powder. Groove heat pipes are very susceptible to gravity while powder heat pipes are less so. To achieve best performance in either heat pipe technology, they need to be placed horizontally or have the heat source side located below the other end of the heat pipe. We recommend choosing and installing components with heat pipes carefully by taking into consideration of the following examples:

1. Use both hands to remove top cover gently.
     

2. After loosening four screws, detach both side panels gently.
     

3. After loosening six screws behind the front panel, detach front panel gently.
     
     

4. First, loosen two screws located on the top-front cover.
    Then push top-front cover in the direction as shown gently and finally pull up to detach the top-front cover.
     

5. Flip top-front cover over to loosen two screws near front I/O module and detach it gently.
     

6. Install USB 3.0 front I/O module (part number: G11303260) and fasten two screws back gently.
     

7. Assemble parts back in reverse order carefully.
    Your case is now USB3 ready.
     

There is a power switch located directly on SG08's power supply and it maybe in the "off" position. The switch is located next to the power cord connector on the power supply, please check it and make sure it is in the "on" position.

It depends on the screen weight and the supported wall mount holes. The size of the screen is not a determining factor on product support. Bigger screens can be supported if their weight falls below the product rating while smaller screens that are above the product rating will not be supported. Lastly, a screen must have wall mount holes design to the same standards as the specified in the product specifications or it will not be supported.
